Here's another weekly email coming at ya:
Federal Election 2015
October 19th is coming up quickly! If you haven’t taken advantage of the advanced voting days you can still vote on the day of the election. As a student, you can vote at school provided that you can produce identification with your London address; this can be a utility bill, a bank statement, or your house lease. If you have any questions about the voting process get in touch with Melissa.
This week’s ML will be part one of a series covering our returning JF’s experiences this past summer! Hilary will be sharing highlights from her work term at Voto and life in Ghana. This is a great opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the JF program if you’re interested in applying this year :)
Scare Them Fair
Come help the Fair Trade Team plan their annual Scare Them Fair event which involves advocating Fairtrade purchases for Halloween! They are looking to do something different with it this year and would love for help coming up with ideas. Look for their table during today’s planning meeting.
Global Engineering Change Lab
The global engineering outreach team is planning events designed to explore the public's current perception of engineers and what role society needs engineers to play. Look for their table during the planning meeting to help them brainstorm!
As always, Planning Meetings are Tuesdays at 5:30 pm in SEB 2094, and Member Learnings are Thursdays at 5:30 pm in UCC 59.
