uwoewb Bono sat down today to talk with leaders from NDP, Liberal and Conservative parties to advocate in the fight against global poverty and putting #PoliticsAside. Watch the update from CTV News.

Bono thanks Canadians for foreign aid contributions

uwoewb EWB is concerned about the information presented in today's article from the Ottawa Citizen and what this means for Canada's role in the post-2015 development agenda. The decline in the Government of Canada's contribution to ODA points to a troubling trend. This, despite 2015 polling data that shows the majority of Canadians not only believe it's important to improve health, education and economic opportunity for the world's poorest people, but that doing so is our moral obligation as Canadians. EWB would like to see Canada reverse this trend and increase our investment in global poverty reduction with an eye towards the post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals.
